Safari
Couldn’t sleep, too hot in our room, even with AC and fans blowing in my face, so instead of just laying there drowning in my sweat, I decided to get up in the middle of the night and do some web surfing that I haven’t done since I started class.
Safari Public Beta 3 was released yesterday for the Windows Platform.
Who’s gonna try it? ..hrmm.. I’m not gonna try it! Lets get Mikey!! yeah, he downloads everything! hehe
I dunno, maybe I’ll try it on my test server machine. Least that way if it breaks something, it’ll just be one of my old PC’s.. Better yet, maybe we’ll try it on my dads old Thinkpad 760XL thats sitting in the closet taking up dust right now. yeah! thats it!! hehe
1.6 times faster then Firefox 2, eh? nn, I’ll believe it when I see it!… Well, at least if it is stable enough to run in Windows, least I’ll finally have a browser to test my blog in for my sister Kimmy who runs Safari on the Mac, that’ll be cool, but I can’t see it running as smooth on the PC as it does for the Mac..Like I said, I’ll believe it when I see it..
but I not gonna try it.. Maybe I can get my sisters husband to try it, yeah!! do it Brandon! hahahaha.
ahh, its so much fun to pick on family, eh?.. School is going good. Mid-Term grades come out this week. I haven’t received mine yet, but they should be out by the end of the week. All graded work so far is A work, and even if I do get an A for Mid-term, that still doesn’t mean I’ll get an A in the course. The only way I can get an A in this course, is to turn in a perfect score for the final project, and get a perfect score on the MOS Exam.. I’m fairly confident in myself to know I can probably get pretty close to an A on the final project, but I’m real nervous about this MOS Exam. I could pass it, or fail it, I really don’t have any idea at this point. Its one of those tests where you have to go into the lab and take it supervised, kinda like the SAT’s, so I dunno. I am looking into having extended time to take the Exam, and having a reader accompany me, so it will make that easier. I could also have extended room, or take the test in another room entirely if I want, but I’m not sure if thats necessary or not, just depends on what the test is like on the day of the Exam I suppose. but here it is mid-term, and I’m done with all my homework, except Chapter 10 and the Appendix, which won’t take me but a day or two more to do, then its just the final project and MOS exam, and I’m done with the class, so I’m like way ahead of everyone else in the class, but I figure I need that push ahead so I can prepare to study for the final project and Exam coming up in July. but its fun, Access is a more powerful application then I thought. It can do most anything mysql can do, even store tables, run queries, forms, reports, pages, and even export them into HTML format. I really had no idea when I started taking this class what all I could do with Access, and how you can export tables into so many different formats, like word, excel, powerpoint presentations, HTML documents, text documents, and import the same way. Its alot more powerful then I gave it credit for.
take care everyone.
